Cheshire Hives is a family run business specialising in high quality and value for money beehives and beekeeping equipment. As beekeepers ourselves we understand that good quality and value for money equipment are important but more often than not you get one or the other. Cheshire Hives is committed to providing our customers with good value and high quality - consistently. Our Beehives are made predominantly from Western Red Cedar which is responsibly sourced from our local suppliers and
transported with minimum transport impact to our joinery workshop. Our deliveries are dispatched 3 times a week in bulk in order to keep our environmental impact to a minimum.
We deliver nationally so whether you are a Dorset beekeeper or up in them there hills we can get our products delivered direct to your door.

Commercial Beekeepers

Our beehives
We supply British Standard National hives in Canadian Western Red Cedar which are made to the highest quality, all parts will need to be assembled and we supply nails free of charge. Alternatively we will assemble for you just add the options you need through our shop under the category 'beehive assembly'. Our National hives come standard with bottom bee space if you require top bee space please email or call to confirm your order before purchasing through our e-shop.
Our WBC hives are supplied fully assembled either with or without frames. The WBC is a beautifully designed hive which offers some additional protection from the elements and looks beautiful in any setting but they can be a little more effort to inspect.
We also manufacture to order Commercial and Langstroth hives please email for further information and prices. All our hives are made in the UK unless stated otherwise.
Beekeeping Equipment
We stock a wide range of Beekeeping equipment, everything from hive tools, porter escapes to wax foundation and smokers. If you are after something specific our powerful beehive search box should find it quickly for you, saves trudging through our entire website doesn't it?
Our prices are updated regularly but if you feel we could be more competitive on anything please just drop us a note with the product, price and where you've seen the item cheaper and we'll get one of the team to investigate. We source our wood from FSC and PEFC registered timber merchants so you can be 100% confident that the timber in your beehive was responsibly sourced and from sustainable,
well managed forests.
